Ellen Graves is a violinist known for her expressive solo playing, adventurous collaborations, and dedication to music education. Lauded for her “emotional clarity,” “magnetic presence,” and “fearless musical imagination”, she is a two-time recipient of the Chamber Music Northwest Fellowship and winner of the Tarisio Emerging Artist Prize. Whether performing contemporary chamber music or mentoring young artists in her private studio, she brings warmth, precision, and curiosity to every musical setting. She appears regularly as a soloist, collaborator, and clinician across the U.S.
